Alan Eischens

I have been involved with sled dogs for over 40 years. I have coordinated, worked as head checker, judge, Marshall and more for several different races over the years. I ran the Iditarod for 7 years.

Being on the Board of Directors is a privilege, and I love seeing the mushers and dogs come together as a whole team.

While not working with the races, I am working at Bear River Outfitters Alaska as a Hunting and Fishing Guide, and am head of maintenance.

When I am not working, I do enjoy traveling, volunteering for our church and being with our grandchildren.

I look forward to seeing each of you in January.
